Privacy and how we use your answers
The Make It Home Pact only works if families feel safe being honest. Here is exactly what happens to what you write.
What we collect
- The answers you record in the eight steps of the pact, including names, promises and the words you agree to use.
- A parent or guardian email address, so we can send your pact link and an optional review reminder.
- A campaign code when you arrive through a club or community partner link.
What we never ask for
- The teen's email address, phone number, date of birth or location.
- Home address, school name, licence number or any government identifier.
- Payment details. The Make It Home Pact is free.
What clubs, sponsors and community banks can see
- Only counts: how many people opened a campaign link, how many pacts were started, and how many were completed.
- No names, no email addresses, no promises and no answers of any kind are shared, reported or displayed.
Marketing consent
- Marketing emails are optional and off unless you tick the box in step one.
- If you opt in, we pass only your email address and first name to our email provider so we can send road-safety tips and updates.
- Your pact answers are never used in marketing emails and are never passed to our email provider.
- You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Keeping and deleting your pact
- Your pact is reachable only through the private link we generate for you. Keep the link to yourselves.
- You can delete your pact permanently from the pact page. Deletion removes your answers and your email address from our records.
